SMS API for business and transactional messages

Send business and transactional SMS from your own system through HTTPS API, with delivery statuses, callbacks and developer-friendly integration.

Overview

  • HTTPS API with GET and POST support
  • IP whitelist and username/password authentication
  • International phone number format without plus sign
  • 7bit and unicode charset handling
  • SMS, Viber, WhatsApp and fallback method values

What is this solution?

The BitMessaging SMS API lets webshops, CRM, ERP, booking and other business systems send SMS automatically as part of customer workflows. Sending works through HTTPS API with client-side IP whitelist, username/password authentication, 7bit or unicode charset and optional callback.

How it fits into the platform

The external system calls the send endpoint using GET or POST. The JSON response returns a message ID, which can be used to query the status endpoint, or the platform can send available status data to a previously configured callback URL.

What problem does it solve?

Many companies still call customers manually, send email from separate tools, or do not know whether important notifications reached the customer. This creates errors, delays and extra support workload.

Operational value

One communication layer instead of separate tools

The solution connects business events, routing, fallback and reporting into one workflow, so customer communication becomes easier to operate and audit.

How does it work?

1

Event

Your business system creates an event with the recipient, message text and the required context.

2

Routing

BitMessaging receives the request, validates access and selects the configured channel or sending method.

3

Fallback

If needed, the workflow can switch to another channel and continue with retry or fallback rules.

4

Report

Message ID, delivery status, callback data and reports close the workflow for your team.
